Sender Score Certified is the only proven email accreditation program available today. It works by putting companies through an extensive accreditation process, conducted by TRUSTe as an independent third-party accrediting authority, to verify that senders follow email best practices and have low complaint rates. The program then works as a metawhitelist, used by ISPs and corporate system administrators to ensure that legitimate email gets delivered.
More Mail Reaches the Inbox
After analyzing 100,000 campaigns across clients who were accepted into the Sender Score Certified while already utilizing Return Path's delivery monitoring services, the increase in inbox delivery went from an average of 69 percent to 83 percent with a lift of 21 percent. The average inbox reach for Sender Score Certified participants surpasses 95 percent.
By looking at data across the ISPs known to use Sender Score Certified for companies in this study both before and after program acceptance, clear increases were noted. The study was conducted over a 90-day period. Only ISPs who publicly say they use Sender Score Certified were included in the sample.

Methodology
This study was conducted by analyzing data for Return Path delivery monitoring clients before and after they were accredited by Sender Score Certified. Improvement data is for the 90-day period post-accreditation as compared to the 90-days prior. More than 100,000 campaigns were included in the study.
